picture magnets

i made these cute magnets to send in a care package for a dear friend. i live in alberta, and most of my good friends are in ontario, so sending little packages is a nice thing to do.

i wanted to make something that would inspire her, and make her think of travel and how big and lovely the world is.

i flipped through a GAP Adventures catalogue that i had laying around, and tore out some pages with nice, small, exciting pictures on them!

i have a big bag of clear glass blobs that i bought from the dollar store, so i used some jewelery glue (basically super glue) and glued them on to the pictures where i wanted them.

once they were dry, i carefully cut around the paper.

and then glued little round magnets (also from the dollar store) on the backs!

i am really happy with how they turned out!

and my favourite, the elephant!
