christmas cards

we are not particularly christmassy people, matt and i. but, this year we decided to send out some little gifty packages to a few friends and family, and we made some cards to accompany them!

as you can see, they are fairly generic - good for any occasion.

we sat down together with my box of crafty goodies, and set to work. i am really happy with how they turned out. they are quite funky!

matt was quite creative! i was very impressed. he did the little border on this card (on the left)

here are some cool ideas for the inside of the cards:

since we were sending them in packages, we could add some cool embellishments that would otherwise make mailing them risky…

i bought a package of cut out flower shapes from the dollar store last year, and i really like the retro look!

i cut out the little trees freehand, i think they turned out well!
